Breakthrough Summerbridge is a tuition-free, year-round and summer intensive academic enrichment and advocacy program. During the summer, students attend a 6-week summer session over 3 summers from grades 6-8. they take classes in topics including math, humanities, science, arts, and athletics. All classes are taught by "teaching fellows," high school and college students from across the country. Professional teachers serve as mentors.
As a Photographer for Breakthrough Summerbridge, I spent time with students and teachers across the 6 weeks and documented all-school meetings, teacher discussions, classrooms, and recreation activities.
