“Flock Party,” hosted by Brookline Art Makes Community (BAMC), is a neighborhood celebration for the unveiling of the first wave of new turkey sculptures, soon be seen on Brookline streets.
The sculptures are painted and personalized by local artists. They are part of a larger initiative by BAMC to enhance the vibrancy and visual appeal of brookline’s commercial areas through public art and placemaking, which reflects the diversity and spirit of Brookline.
BAMC emerged from recommendations in Brookline’s Local Rapid Recovery Plan in 2021 during COVID-19. The ultimate goal is to support small business and commercial area resiliency.

The turkey sculptures were hidden behind a black cloth before they were unveiled to the public at 11am.

Brookline Public Library hosted turkey-related crafts, including origami turkeys and coloring books.
